Meet the Anthurium Vittarifolium. This funky little man is just crazy cool. He can grow long and narrow leaves that can grow up to 2 metres in length. Although ours aren’t quite that size. He likes to grow in a hanging basket to match his natural growing conditions in the wild. Plus if you grow him in a hanging basket you can watch and monitor the leaves lengthening. He is grown and sold in 100mm pots.
- If you choose to grow him inside he will need a spot with bright light. So maybe near a window would be perfect
- If you grow him outside he will need a shaded spot with morning or dappled light
- He requires good draining soil for when you repot him
- Keep his soil nice and moist throughout spring and summer but leave him be throughout the cooler months
